Sarvodaya Vidyalaya is a school of the Major Archiepiscopal Eparchy of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. The school is situated on the lush green Bethany Hills . It was founded on 3 January 1973 by Benedict Mar Gregorios, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Trivandrum. The school has CBSE, ICSE and Kerala State Syllabus from LKG to Plus Two. The motto of the school is 'Let there be light'. Major Archbishop Catholicos Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis was the patron and manager of the school and Rev. Fr.George Mathew Karoor the principal. The school is one of the few schools in the district which provides ISC and ICSE sylabbi, the most advanced course in the country.
